Hydroponic Garden

One of the ways we can give back to the community is by donating food to local food banks with the help of our hydroponic Farmstand. The hydroponic system is self-watering and self-fertilizing, and plants grow without the use of soil!

We grow using only non-GMO, pre-grown organic seedlings. Traditional gardening requires 40+ square feet of space, but the hydroponic system only requires about 4 square feet. With 95% reduced C02, 95% reduced water use, and 95% reduced waste, we love helping the community and our hydroponic system!

Water usage would have been about 20 gallons, but we only require 1 gallon or less. We’re using methods that reduce costs and water usage. And with virtually no experience needed in gardening, we are happy to have a hydroponic system that we can utilize right here at our library!
